First produced in Norway around 1840, these gorgeous glass floats have practical roots. Fisherman used them to keep their fishing nets afloat, sometimes setting strings of them up to 80km long into the ocean. They’re no longer used today, but they’ve been known to wash up on the shores of the Pacific. Much too beautiful to be hidden in the deep blue sea, they make beautiful pieces of decor and are deserving of a spot front-and-centre in your home.
