When it comes to home decor, I’ve pretty much scoured ever nook and cranny of the internet. It’s not often that I find new-to-me content, so when I discovered Our Food Stories, the blog of a food stylist and photographer living in Berlin, it felt like a true treasure trove. Their Designtales section is filled with stunning Swedish, Scandinavian and European spaces, accompanied by interviews with the interesting people who inhabit them. They’re the kind of home tours that deserve more than a few moments of scrolling, but instead beg you to sit and study over a cup of tea when you have no places to go or people to see.

Located in the Berlin countryside, Laura and Nora’s kitchen has a Belgian farmhouse feel, with a few of my favourite elements — an unlaquered brass faucet, farmhouse sink and handmade tile backsplash. The creamy stone colour of the Shaker cabinets is incredibly fresh, and the small scale of the industrial pendants add even more charm. It’s all a bit higgly piggly in the best way.
